Policies:

  1. What is your Turnaround Like?

Custom patterned garments/Full costumes: I am generally booked out a year in advance.

Custom Skirts: 4 months, sometimes less. Please no check-in emails unless you've paid for a Rush Order: Anything less than my max time. This starts at 30% and increases according to due date. Contact me for a quote. No rush fee = I can try my best, but cannot guarantee delivery dates.

  2. What Payment methods do you take?

I take PayPal, Cash, Direct Checkout, Square cash, card over the phone, whatever. No checks, no Money Orders, no wires. Payment plans are available on custom costuming, not single custom skirt orders, or ready to wear skirts.

No rush orders on layaway, work does not start until all payments are completed, Max 90 days.

  3. What's the deal with shipping?

I ship a couple of times a week. Express shipping is available, inquire within if you need it. I am not responsible for customs fees/VAT incurred internationally, so please take this into account when ordering from overseas. All packages will be marked as merchandise.

  1. Do You Take Returns?

No. Exchanges on ready-made goods are considered on a case by case basis. If there is a fit issue, please contact me immediately, and we can assess how I might be able to help you. Once an item been altered by a party other than myself, you're on your own.

No Returns, No Refunds. I'm happy to exchange for another size in any available color upon receipt of the item in its original pristine condition (IE not covered in pet hair, dirty from dragging around a club, or reeking of perfume or cigarettes), with a restocking fee of 25%. Please know that I do fairly small runs (It's just me doing all this) and sizes do sell out pretty quickly, so this is why I stress measuring yourself carefully, and also include all measurements, both flat, AND stretched to the max to aid in your decision making process.

All exchanges must be received within 30 days.

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not available on one of a kind headdresses and accessories.

  1. How do I take measurements? What measurements do I need?

    How to take Measurements.

Here's how it goes...First, grab a nice flexible measuring tape (and a helper if you've got one...All I get to work with is the measurements YOU provide me with, so lets make doubly sure they're accurate), and your minimally clad (leggings are fine) bod.

Measurements you will need for a skirt include:
HIPS: Your low rise hip (from the top of where you would wear a belly dance belt, usually right around your hipbone or just below, depending on preference).
BOOTIE: Around the widest point of your tush.
HIP 2 FLOOR: (from where you took your low hip) to the floor.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: I am working to the measurements you give me. If you're unsure, get help from a tailor or a friend that can sew well. If you have questions, please ask me. If I make your garment to incorrect measurements, it won't fit. End of story.

    1. What size skirt should I order?

My sizing is very generous, so keep that in mind. If you fit into more than one size, I generally suggest going with the smallest that your measurements are within.
      XXS - 29" - 33" Low rise hip / 33"- 40" Bootie / 37" Length.
      XS - 31"- 34" Low Rise Hip / 34" - 40" Bootie / 37" Length.
      S - 32"- 36" Low Rise Hip / 35" - 42" Bootie / 38.5" Length.
      M - 34" - 40" Low Rise Hip / 36" -46" Bootie / 39" Length.
      L - 36" - 40" Low Rise Hip / 39" - 48" Bootie / 39" Length.
      XL - 39" - 50" Low Rise Hip / 42" - 53" Bootie / 39" Length.

      1. What colors can you make skirts in?

If you don't see what you'd like on this list, contact me. I can usually find other colors, prints, and non-velvet materials.

PLEASE include your first and a second choice color. Suppliers being what they are, sometimes they run out of things, so your skirt will show up in the second choice color if your first choice is not available. IF your skirt absolutely must be in your first choice color, please tell me, and we'll just wait for my suppliers to get more in. They usually do, and it's worth the wait.
